OK I promise for tonight this is my last picture. I'm finally getting the hang of this so I'm making up for lost time. A couple of weeks ago Jen brought over a DVD for me to watch made by someone called the "Pajama Quilter". It was a great DVD about free motion quilting and I learned so much from it. Actually I can't wait to see it again. Anyway we went shopping last week and we each bought a small white board to practice drawing designs on. In the DVD that is what she recommends to use since you can draw and then just wipe it away. I think we picked up our boards at Target and they really weren't all that much. It's longer than it is wide which is good because on Jen's quilter you quilt in a narrower area. So here she is sitting in my livingroom practicing her designs on her board. I just wanted to share with all of you the exciting way we spend our nights here. For anyone who is starting out doing FMQ this is a great way to practice.
